Program
Day 1 -
Around 8:00 AM, we will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Bodrum Harbor, where you will board a 9:00 AM ferry for Bodrum (1-hour, 30-minutes); you will arrive in Kos, and then we will lead you on a tour of the island.
Kos is a Greek island in the Dodecanese, next to the Gulf of Cos. It measures 40 km by 8 km, and the island has both fertile plains and infertile highlands. The island was originally colonized by the Carians. The Dorians invaded it in the 11th century Kos became part of the Roman Empire and, later, part of the Byzantine Empire.
The tourist and cultural Centrex district, features whitewashed homes, hotels, restaurants and a small number of nightclubs. The town has a 14th century fortress at the entrance to its harbor, erected in 1315 by The Knights of Saint John of Rhodes.
After lunch, you will be free to explore Kos on your own. We'll depart at 4 :00 PM and arrive in Bodrum at 4:30 PM. We will then provide a transfer to your hotel.
